Whether your goals are to become a professional fighter or simply to lose weight and get in great shape for summer, The Fitness Club can take you there. Background:
  • Trained in Martial Arts and wrestling for 30 years with studies in: Kickboxing, Tae Kwon Do, Sambo, Hwa Rang Do, Mixed Martial Arts, Freestyle and Greco Roman Wrestling.
  • Spent 10 in Japan as a Pro MMA fighter, Kickboxer and Wrestler.  Fought and trained as a team member of the world famous Shark Tank.
  • Fought and wrestled for the following companies: K1, Zero-One, UFO, IGF, Noah, All Japan, WWE, Rumble on the Rock, Cage Rage, UPW and Hustle.
  • Instructor for WWE for 2 years with students including: John Cena, Chris Masters, Mike Mizanin, Nathan Jones, John Heidenreich, Sylvester Terkay, Victoria and Samoa Joe.
  • Acted in more than 20 feature films, television shows and commercials such as Daredevil, True Vengeance, The Drew Carey Show and Good vs. Evil.
  • Trained actor Jack Black and acted as consultant for the movie Nacho Libre.
  • Recently finished filming Quentin Tarantino movie in Thailand where I acted in a lead role as a russian mafia hitman and as a consulting stunt coordinator (to be released early 2008).

Specialized classes/private training in:

Kickboxing: Technique based involving a combination of punches from western boxing and kicks, knee and elbow strikes from Muay Thai.  Also cardio based with emphasis on body conditioning and burning calories.

Ground Fighting:  From take downs to submissions with emphasis on joint manipulation and chokes derived from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Russian Sambo and Freestyle/Greco Roman wrestling.  Also a great body conditioning workout and calorie burner.

Mixed Martial Arts:  A combination of the kickboxing and ground fighting with an emphasis on technique and strength and conditioning.

Strength and Conditioning:  Training with an emphasis on kettle bells, medicine balls, plyometrics, mat pilates and power flow yoga.

Our program is designed not only to develop an athlete's physical potential, but to provide a fitness education that can empower an athlete for a lifetime. We start by maintaining a low instructor-to-student ratio in order to ensure the highest quality training for every athlete. Then, following one of SST's unique training plans, our instructors work with the athletes both individually and as a group to develop and maintain the proper technique for every exercise. In this way, athletes not only build strength and confidence, but gain knowledge that helps create the foundation of athletic success.
